Double or quadruple an image’s pixel dimensions using multi-step canvas resampling with a light sharpening pass. Stepping up in stages preserves edges better than a single jump, so the result is noticeably cleaner than a plain resize.
Set expectations honestly: this is resampling and sharpening, not AI generative upscaling. It interpolates and crisps the detail that exists; it cannot invent detail that was never captured. For heavily compressed or very small source images, results will still look soft — just larger.
